• Zack is the Digital Marketing Manager at Alzheimer's Foundation of America. He brings over seven years of experience in the nonprofit sector in development and marketing/communications. Zack is currently serving as the Board Chair of YNPN-NYC and has been involved with the organization for four years. His unfaltering dedication to YNPN-NYC inspired a rebirth to overcome the setbacks of Covid-19, reaching over 300 young professionals through monthly networking events since returning to programming in June of 2022. His causes of special interest include healthcare, nature and environmental conservation, and poverty alleviation. Before moving to NYC, he served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma City Chapter of YNPN. Zack holds the Certified Fundraising Executive Credential, and is currently obtaining a certificate in Digital Fundraising from New York University.

    Outside of Volunteering with YNPN-NYC, Zack loves spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Virginia and their dogs, Pepper Jack and Bacon.

  • Lauren is a Portfolio Associate at Neuberger Berman. She brings over five years of experience in nonprofit education and program development. Upon obtaining her K-5 Florida Teaching License, she embarked on a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Malaysia. During her time there, she started the first Best Buddies chapter in East Malaysia, impacting over 600 marginalized high school students. Since then, Lauren has used her expertise in program development and instructional planning to provide educational opportunities across the Greater Cincinnati and New York Metropolitan areas. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Education. Prior to joining NYC’s chapter, Lauren was involved with the Greater Cincinnati YNPN Board. In addition to her role as Board Member, Lauren currently volunteers as a Support Group Host with National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City.

    When she’s not in a classroom or volunteering, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, rock climbing, and gardening.

  • Mallory is currently an analytics engineer at Capchase, a Fintech company headquartered in NYC. Mallory volunteers at many organizations around the city including Bowery Mission, Salvation Army and Father's Heart Ministry and loves to support nonprofits whenever possible. In her free time, she leverages her experience in data analytics by volunteering with nonprofits through Catchafire. In addition to helping support YNPN-NYC, she is also a board member for the Greater NYC Echelon program with Salvation Army.

  • Andrew is a Senior Manager with BDO, a firm providing clients with assurance, tax, advisory, and consulting services. Andrew works in the firm’s Nonprofit and Education Advisory practice providing nonprofits with consulting services in the areas of organizational strategy, risk and compliance, financial strategy and enablement, technology enablement, and more. He’s spent over a decade in consulting helping organizations optimize their operations and financial management at the intersection of people, process, and technology. A champion of DEI, Andrew also co-leads the NYC office’s Multicultural Alliance – one of the firm’s Employee Resource Groups. The driving purpose behind Andrew’s work is to support the nonprofit sector by creating shared value to enable mission impact. A native to NYC, Andrew attended CUNY Queens College for undergrad and Columbia University for his graduate studies.

    When he’s not reading or spending time with his family, you can catch Andrew at a local park playing basketball or tennis.

  • Yulia is Head of Operations and Strategy at Giveffect, the leading all-in-one nonprofit software. Yulia came to this role with over 10 years of international work experience (Japan, Philippines) in International Relations, Operations, and Business Strategy. She aims to translate her passion for technology into the nonprofit sector and demonstrate how technology can make our work more human.

    Yulia is passionate about building meaningful connections to form strong relationships, create support networks, and provide resources for professional development. She is involved with various nonprofit organizations and serves as a volunteer for Women In Development NYC.

    Having lived in the city five years, Yulia enjoys exploring different neighborhoods and learning about history, culture, and food.

  • Beatriz is a freelance product advisor for a healthcare talent management Saas platform, Kevala. Her previous experience lies within workforce management strategy and employee development in Advent Health Medical group, a leading nonprofit organization based in Orlando, Florida. She led central Florida's largest hiring sector, reducing AHMG’s clerical vacancies by 40% and turnover by 4%. In the course of volunteering her time and skills, she has supported multiple associations including Second Harvest food bank, Pancreatic cancer action network, Walk MS, in addition to others. Beatriz is a proud alumna of Stetson university, where she earned a Master of Business Administration and AdventHealth University where she acquired a Master of Healthcare Administration in Strategy and Innovation. In her free time she loves to read books, outdoor bike riding, and enjoying the diverse food here in New York City. She is consistently looking for new ways to give back to her community and advocating for diversity within leadership.
